• Schedule (One seminar a week)

Room and time: Tuesday 16:15-17:45, A328 (TML seminar room in the T-building). The first lecture is on the January 22th. During this first seminar, an overview of some of the topics will be given and first topics will be assigned.

Additionally, we had three lectures and one seminar by Phillip Rogaway on week of April 21.

Signing up for the seminar

Students interested (except invited students) in participating should send an email to helgertcs.hut.fi by 26 January 2002 with the following information:

• Name, student id, department
• Information about yourself (list of publications, prerequisites, work experience that is relevant, description of your knowledge of area, a short research plan...).

Since the number of topics is limited to ~20, we will possibly have to reject some students. Though currently it seems very unlikely we get so many applicants.
