The aim of the workshop is to bring together active researchers interested in computational aspects of nonmonotonic reasoning to discuss current research, results, application areas, and underlying theoretical issues.

Program

The workshop is held on Saturday, May 30, 1998 and the program consists of 10 accepted papers, a panel and demos. In addition there are invited talks and a panel organized jointly with all the special workshops at NM'98. For more details on invited talks and other program, see the overall program of NM'98

Proceedings

Proceedings are available on the web and copies will be distributed to the registered participants of the workshop.

Student support

AAAI is providing travel support for a limited number of participating students. Preference will be given to students presenting a paper and to students from overseas. Applications for student support should be sent electronically to one of the co-chairs of NM'98. They should include address of home university, estimation of travel costs and, if applicable, title of paper presented at NM'98.
