Signing up for the seminar

Students interested in participating should send an email to crysptcs.hut.fi by 21 September 2001 with the following information:

• Name, student id, department
• Information about yourself (list of publications, prerequisites, work/research experience that is relevant...), and
• Research plan (a short essay where you describe your interests and background in cryptography, esp what concerns of your chosen topics, see the next item), and
• Topic choice. Please outline three topics in the order of preference, starting from the favorite topic. Please explain why you are interested in concrete topics and why the tutor should be interested in you.

Since the number of topics is limited to 20, we will possibly have to reject several students. A nice research plan is one of the prerequisites (although not the only one) for not being rejected.
