Dear Students,

Due to several requests, we have decided to offer 5 extra bonus
homework assignments which will be graded on the scale 0 - 1.5 (points).
Please note that you cannot revise your answers to these assignments.

By solving these extra assignments you may either
- ensure that you will eventually pass the course, or
- increase your homework grade by one unit (+1) at maximum.

There is yet another source of bonus points: by filling in the
feedback form (to appear on our web page) in time you may earn 0.5
bonus points.  Please remember to supply your student ID on the
form. This is just to collect the list of students who have given
feedback (anonymity is not otherwise compromised).

Bonus points (8 at maximum) are calculated in isolation from ordinary
points and their potential effect on your homework grade is also taken
into account separately.

DEADLINES:
- Bonus assignments are due by the non-negotiable fall-back deadline,
  the 16th of January, 2006.
- The feedback form is to be filled in between the 9th of December,
  2005, and the 2nd of January, 2006 (at latest).
